Smart with an eagerness to please, these dogs are very athletic and can handle a lot of activity. If you have been lucky enough to pheasant hunt with Bob as your guide, you know that these Dogs can perform to the highest levels in the field while being great house pets as well. Labs are excellent house dogs, companion dogs or drug dogs because of their great ability to smell and perform under pressure.
Female Labrador retrievers will grow to about 60lbs and Males around 80lbs.
